Wijlre is a well-known place to visit and to relax; also a place to find very fine harpsichords.
Copies of the Ruckers 1612 & 1624 harpsichords are only available by order.

The harpsichord left is a copy of the famous  IR Ioannes Ruckers 1612. (1612 IR Ioannes Ruckers, 1612?, grand ravalement of a normal double-manual harpsichord, Instrument Museum of the Conservatoire N.S.M., Paris, No. E.1. ) It has the decorations, soundboard and case of the Ioannes Ruckers 1624. (1624 I R Ioannes Ruckers, 1624, aligned petit ravalement of a normal double-manual harpsichord, Le musée des Unterlinden, Colmar, France.)

This harpsichord is made by Carel Teerink (Wijlre) and Ioannes de Pauw ('s-Hertogenbosch) It has beautiful decorations and pure gold leaves is used.
